Smyly Trust Services is one of the voluntary sector providers operating in the Child, Youth and Family Services offering residential care in two residential centres, Glensilva and Racefield House.  The services are for boys and girls up to the age of 18 years.  We also provide an Aftercare Service for young males leaving residential care and foster care.

Centres are registered and inspected by the Health Information and Quality Authority and monitored by the Health Service Executive (Dublin South).  While classified as mainstream residential services, we provide a therapeutic model of care within a therapeutic community approach, aimed at meeting the emotional and developmental needs of each child and young person.

We are members of the Charterhouse Group of Therapeutic Communities, the Community of Communities, the Resident Managers Association, the Association of Social Care Workers, the Irish Aftercare Network and The Wheel....
